My recent stay unveiled a spacious room that boasted a mini-kitchen and sitting area-an uncommon find in Swiss cities at this price point. The cleanliness and modern furnishings added a comfortable touch, though some might find the lighting somewhat inadequate during the day. Guests may encounter initial check-in confusion, as it now occurs at the nearby front desk-but the friendly staff efficiently managed our luggage and were a pleasure to interact with. The hotel's location on the edge of the main shopping street provided easy access to both restaurants and the picturesque lake just a short walk away, enhancing the overall experience. In a region known for its luxurious offerings, the San Carlo presents a financially savvy choice.
